This extremely useful reference site, lists all the
issues from UPU countries since January 2002.
It has been has been developed jointly by
the World Association for the Development of Philately and the Universal Postal Union.

New Canadian catalogues available ~

Stanley Gibbons Canadian catalogue, the first in the 'One Country' series, arrived in the country this month.

Printed only in black and white - loose-leaf   RRP in NZ  $50     binder available  RRP $45

We notice from SG's website that this is available from them direct at £10 +p&p, the colour edition is £20 +p&p

The One Country catalogues for Australia and for New Zealand are still in preparation.

 

Unitrade Canadian Specialised, in colour, RRP in NZ $150       Unitrade's web-page lists it at CAN$40 +p&p

 

Both these catalogues can be ordered through KSC at members discount.

New Definitions ~

Philantelist - a collector who rushes all over the place gathering up every stamp he sees, in the hope that it may one day become valuable.

Arachnoleptic fit - the frantic dance performed just after you've looked at your stamp collection for the first time in six months and discovered it has become a spiders nest.

Caterpallor - the colour you turn when you find your full face queens all chewed at the edges and the remains of some green things, squashed between the pages.

Beelzebug - Satan in the form of a mosquito that gets into your bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.
